Cost: $45/person

Add on $25 Paddle Picnic Boxed Lunch, $25 Wine Tasting

This guided tour of the Petaluma River enjoys sweeping views of preserved wetlands, big skies and an oak-studded ridgeline that stretches South-West from Olampali to Mt. Tamalpais in Marin Co.

Overview

Ride the tide and winds of the Petaluma Gap from our shop in the Petaluma Marina to Lakeville Landing. Enjoy sweeping views of Olampali State Park as you glide along the largest, continuous wetland estuary on the Pacific Coast of North America.
Lakeville landing is located at the midway point between the mouth of the Petaluma River and the City of Petaluma. Home to a guest dock that has been used since the 1880’s and a picnic area, Lakeville Landing is the perfect destination to conclude your 5 mile downwind adventure of the Petaluma River. With the wind at your back, enjoy a panoramic vista of Marin and Sonoma Counties with views of oak studded hills that stretch the horizon to Mt. Tamalpais. Twist and turn through the river while spying on native and migratory birds like American green-winged teal, buffleheads, gadwalls and Canada geese. Perfect for beginner paddlers and intermediate paddlers alike, this guided, moderate level tour is not one to miss. Corporate and large groups may enjoy a post-paddle Oyster BBQ & Beaujolais wine tasting with our resident winemaker and owner, Andrew Dickson.
