Not long ago, downtown Petaluma’s main draws were its funky stuck-in-time saloons and quirky parades (read: Butter and Egg Days). Those are still hits, but now a new wave of young farmers and butchers are refreshing Petaluma’s old iron-front buildings with sleek new storefronts that pay tribute to its historic country charm, while outdoorsy pioneers are taking to the river in an entirely new way. Sunday April 6th 830am - 430pm. Celebrate healthy, fresh water flows and Spring Runoff ! Join us for an 16 mile paddle adventure on the Russian River through Alexander Valley. Meet at Petaluma Stand Up Paddle where we will carpool to the launch site, 16 miles North of Healdsburg. Several cars will be left at Memorial Beach en route (Healdsburg). Late rains will make for one of THE BEST excursions in years! Spots are limited, $85/day includes paddle board or kayak rental. Add gourmet boxed lunch $25/ 72 hour notice

This one hour, paddle session will be co-hosted by Kim Hawkins from Bergin Canine University and the owner of PSUP; includes basic paddle instruction, 1 hour board rental and coaching to get your dog-on-board comfortably and in proper position. $35/session or $15 BYO paddle board. **Doggy life vests for sale on-site if need be (not for rent)
